Genesis 3 & 4: Man’s Awful Sin
Verse of the Day: (3:17) “And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;”

1. Serpent (3:1-24)
V1 “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”

God created everything good and especially man who was created in His own image. However, man failed God as he chose to sin against God’s command when he took and ate the forbidden fruit. It all began when the serpent who was none other than Lucifer (Isaiah 14:12) tempted and led man to sin against God. In fact, it was Eve, the woman, who was first tempted by the serpent as she succumbed to the lusts of her eyes and flesh and pride, followed by Adam, her husband. This is the beginning of the awful sin of man, and since then, man has to work hard on the ground for his living. However, God already had a redemption plan as He would send forth His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for man. Whoever therefore believes in Him shall never perish in fiery hell but have everlasting life with Him in glorious heaven - God’s greatest gift to man (Romans 5:15).

2. Sin (4:1-8)
V7 “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”

Adam and Eve had their children, Cain and Abel. Again, God tested them, and this time, He commanded Cain and Abel to offer sacrifices to Him. God accepted Abel’s sacrifice because Abel obeyed God by giving the right sacrifice which was the blood of the lamb signifying the prophecy of the coming of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, who would sacrifice His life and shed His blood for the sins of man. However, God rejected Cain’s offering which was the fruit of the ground. In anger, Cain killed Abel - the first awful sin. Though Abel lost his life but he is now in heaven with God because he believed and obeyed Him.

3. Sevenfold (4:9-26)
V15 “And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.”

Despite man’s sin, God still loved and protected man, and even set a mark on Cain, and warn others never to hurt him less they be punished 7 times. Indeed, God loves man but He hates sins and desires that all should repent of our sins and come to His saving grace.

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, thank You for Your forgiveness of my sins as I trust and obey You.

Genesis 1 & 2: God’s Creation
Verse of the Day: (1:27) “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

1. Creation (1:1-31)
V31 “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

Welcome to the first book of the 66 books of the Bible, the Word of God. Indeed, let us acknowledge and believe in the God of the Word who is the true and living God. Let us look around us, and appreciate the wonderful creation of this world, and know that there is a Creator. When we see our beautiful watch, we know that it must be a smart and creative man who has designed and make it. Similarly, when we look at the awesome mountains, oceans, animals, birds, fishes, insects, and especially ourselves - our minds and hearts - we know that there must be Someone who has designed and created all of us. That Someone is none other than God who has created all things except those things that man has designed and created. In fact, after God created everything including man in 6 just days and then He rested on the 7th day, and declared that everything was very good!

2. Command (2:1-23)
V16 “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:”

When God created man, named Adam, in His image, and then He created a woman, named Eve, as his help meet, He commanded them that they could eat everything that were in the garden of Eden except the fruits from the knowledge of good and evil. However, Adam and Eve chose to disobey God’s command and ate the forbidden fruit, and thereby caused the tragic fall of man. However, God in His foreknowledge knew that man would disobey Him, and therefore He had a redemption plan to send His only Son, Jesus Christ, from heaven to earth, to live, minister and then die on the cross and shed His blood not only for the sins of Adam and Eve, but the whole world, that whoever believes in Him should not perish in hell, but have everlasting life with Him in heaven (John 3:16).

3. Cleave (2:24-25)
V24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

It is God’s desire and command that the husband and wife should cleave together and become one flesh, and establish their own family, unless their parents truly need them to physically, emotionally and financially support them. In fact, the husband represents Christ and the wife represents the church, and even as Christ loved and gave Himself for the church, the husband must likewise love his wife and even die for her (Ephesians 5:25).

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, thank You for creating me as I trust and obey You now and forever.

Revelation 22: Are You Ready For Christ’s Coming?
Verse of the Day: (V7) “Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”

1. Come (V1-13)
V6 “And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”

As we come to the last chapter of the last book, Revelation, of the 66 books of the Word of God, the Bible, let us remember that it is God of the Word that we must trust and obey. Many in this world may know the Word of God, but they have never truly know the God of the Word. The God of the Word reminds Apostle John the last time that all who truly believe in Him must be ready for His coming as He shall come quickly and catch us unaware unless we have been faithful in keeping His Word in our hearts and daily applying them in our lives. God again shows John the glimpse of glorious heaven with the pure river of water of life clear as crystal, which is God’s Word, following out of the throne of God and of the Lamb or Jesus Christ. In glorious heaven, all who truly believe in God by faith - from the Old and the New Testaments, the church age (our present time), the Tribulation and the Millennium Kingdom, shall have God’s name on their foreheads, and they shall see His wonderful face, and worship and serve and reign with Him forever.

2. Commandments (V14-20)
V14 “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

The greatest tragedy for men at the Day of Judgment is to hear from God that He shall cast them to fiery hell, because He never ever knows them. We may think we know God, and we are His Christians, but it is what God judges and says that truly counts. Let us be careful not to add to or take away what is in God’s Word, because they are all inspired by the Holy Spirit.  Let us also be sure of our salvation by truly believing and receiving Christ as our Saviour in our hearts, and obeying all His commandments so that we shall have the right to His tree of life, and enter into His heavenly city and be with Him forever!

3. Christ (V21)
V21 “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”

Indeed, it is all about God and His grace, and nothing about us and our works. It is only by God’s grace are we saved through faith in Him, and our salvation is truly His greatest gift to us. (Ephesians 2:8-10). Let us therefore rejoice always in the Lord for our salvation, sacrifice, suffering and supplication knowing that they are of God, and from God, and that the wonderful grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with us now and forever!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, please help me to be ready for Your coming by being faithful to You.

Revelation 21: It Is Done!
Verse of the Day: (V6) “And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.”

1. Done (V1-7)
V4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Whatever God plans and purposes - it is done! - Because He is God - I AM THAT I AM (Exodus 3:14). Though God gives men the free will, and sadly, the first couple - Adam & Eve - chose to sin against God (Genesis 3:6) yet God knew that they shall fall from grace, and already had a redemption plan for them - the coming, birth, death, resurrection and 2nd coming - of His only begotten Son (John 3:16). Indeed, it shall be a happy ending for God’s believers, because their enemies, Satan and all his demons, shall never tempt them as they are finally cast into eternal condemnation. God shall create a new heaven and earth and Jerusalem, and shall dwell with men, and they shall never thirst because He is the Fountain of the water of life. God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, sorrow, crying or pain, because His saints are now perfect in Him!

2. Death (V8)
V8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Indeed, God bless those who believe in Him and who are born twice (physical and spiritual births) because they only die once (physical death) as their souls shall live spiritually in heaven forever. However, those who reject God only born once (physical birth) but die twice (physical and spiritual deaths) because they not only die physically, but their souls shall also spiritually die (the 2nd death) and burn in the lake of fire forever.

3. Do (V9-27)
V24 “And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.”

God shall build a New Jerusalem for His bride or His saints whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life and they do bring Him glory for all that He has done! The New city shall shine brightly without the sun because it has God’s glory and the Lamb’s light. The city and street shall be of pure gold, and the names of the 12 tribes of Israel on 12 angels together with 12 great pearls shall be on the 12 gates of the wall, and the names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb together with 12 different types of precious stones shall be on the foundations of the wall. What a day it shall be to see our awesome Saviour and city!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, thank You for all that You have done for me, especially my salvation!

Revelation 20: Are You Found Written In The Book Of Life?
Verse of the Day: (V15) “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

1. Beheaded (V1-4)
V4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

At the end of the Great Tribulation period, the Almighty God shall bound and cast Satan, the Devil, the old serpent, into the bottomless pit. God shall then raise His precious saints, and let them victoriously reign with Him for 1,000 years. These are the precious and faithful saints who choose to be beheaded for the Lord Jesus Christ and His holy Word, than to worship Satan, the beast, and receive the mark 666 upon their foreheads or hands.

2. Blessed (V5-10)
V6 “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

God shall raise the saints who die during the Great Tribulation period, and they shall be blessed and happy and holy because they shall never experience second death but shall reign with Christ for 1,000 years and join Him together with His heavenly armies to fight and defeat Satan and his earthly armies at the final and ultimate battle of Armageddon, and then live with Him as His priests forever. After the defeat, Satan is then cast once and for all into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are, and they shall all be tormented day and night forever, and shall never ever deceive men again!

3. Book (V11-15)
V11 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”

After the Great Tribulation period and the Millennial Kingdom, the Almighty God shall judge all the people - famous and unknown, rich and poor - with His books - the book of life and book of works - at the great white throne. Those whose names are written in the books of life and works shall be with Christ forever, while those whose names are not found written in the books shall be cast into fiery hell, and then into the lake of fire, the second death. Let us therefore repent of our sins, and believe and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour and Lord, and we shall never perish in fiery hell, but our names shall be in His books of life and works, and be with Him in glorious heaven forever!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, thank You that I trust You, and am found written in Your book of life.

Revelation 19: Will You Believe The LORD OF LORDS?
Verse of the Day: (V16) “And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

1. Lamb (V1-10)
V7 “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”

At the end of the Great Tribulation period, God shall judge and destroy the great whore, the great city of Babylon, the mother of harlots or the false churches and teachings. This begins the marriage of the Lamb or the Lord Jesus Christ, and His bride or His true churches and Christians. Indeed, Christ knows His bride, His true churches and Christians, who wholly follows Him. Christ’s bride or the true churches and Christians shall be clothed in fine linen, clean and white, representing the righteousness of Christ. Indeed, Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for the sins of the world, and the true churches and Christians who believe in Him shall have His righteousness in them, and shall never perish in fiery hell, but shall have everlasting life with Him in glorious heaven.

2. LORD (V11-16)
V11 “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.”

At the end of the Great Tribulation period, Jesus shall return to earth, and this time He shall not come as an infant born in a manger and the son of a carpenter to live and die as a Saviour of the world, but as the Faithful and True and the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. He shall ride on a white horse to judge the earth with His sharp sword, the Word of God, and shall smite and destroy the earth and rule with a rod of iron.

3. Lake (V17-21)
V20 “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”

The KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS with His heavenly armies shall make war with the false prophet, the beast, the kings of the earth, and their earthly armies, and He shall defeat them and cast them alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. It shall always be a great victory for the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS and His heavenly armies because He always wins and nothing and no one can ever hinder or defeat Him. Let us therefore repent of our sins and wrongdoings, and believe and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour and KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, and He shall be with us, and deliver us from all our troubles, tribulations, tests and trials!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, thank You that I believe and trust in You, the LORD OF LORDS.

Revelation 18: Will You Escape The Great Millstone?
Verse of the Day: (V21) “And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.”

1. Great Power (V1-14)
V1 “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.”

At the end of the Great Tribulation period, the Almighty God, through the strong voice of His angel with great power, shall proclaim the destruction of Babylon, the mother of harlots or the false churches and teachings. Indeed, God is not mocked, and great city Babylon shall reap what she sows. Satan has deceived and blinded many through his false churches and teachings that they shall have everything they desire in their flesh if they worship him. Satan actually fulfils the lustful desires of the people who worship and adore him, but before long, they slide into the sins of immorality, idolatry and corruption.

2. Great City (V15-20)
V16 “And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

God sends plagues to burn or destroy the great city Babylon or the false churches and teachings. The people then realise that all their money and materialism can never truly satisfy their hearts and souls. Many fall into rock bottom and begin to believe the Rock of the bottom, who is none other than Christ. However, there are many who are completely blinded by Satan, and still reject Christ. Yet God is longsuffering, and He still waits for all to repent of their sins, and believe in Him, even during the Great Tribulation period!

3. Great Millstone (V21-24)
V24 “And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.”

Whatever the angel that throws a stone like a great millstone into the sea really destroys the false churches and teachings completely. Indeed, God shall ultimately judge and punish great city Babylon, or Satan, who establishes the false churches and teachings, not only for deceiving and blinding the people, but for the murder of His prophets and saints. Finally, the whole heaven, with God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Old and New Testament and Great Tribulation saints, as well as all the angels, shall greatly rejoice over the destruction and fall of Babylon, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth, under the evil and wicked control and influence of Satan. Let us remind ourselves that the things of this world - money and materialism - that Satan offers to us can never replace the gifts of our Almighty God - salvation and sanctification!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, thank You that I shall escape the great millstone as I believe in You.

Revelation 17: Will You Flee From Babylon?
Verse of the Day: (V5) “And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

1. Babylon (V1-5)
V1 “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:”

The woman, whose forehead is written, The mystery, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth, is none other than the false churches and teachings that Satan establishes to deceive the people throughout the whole world, and eventually lead them to fiery hell. The true churches of God are called the bride of Christ, while the false churches are called the mother of harlots. Today, the deceit of false churches and teachings is the most effective strategy that Satan uses to lead many to eternal condemnation. Satan is behind the false teachers who outwardly maybe good-looking and eloquent, but inwardly their hearts are evil and wicked. These false teachers entice and seduce many to their false teachings, and even condone their sins of immorality and idolatry by misusing God’s grace. However, God is not mocked as He shall judge the mother of harlots. During the 1st half of the Great Tribulation period, Satan shall continue to lie and deceive many through his false churches and teachings, but during the 2nd half, he reveals his true colour, and begins to torture, and kill them unless they worship him.

2. Blood (V6-7)
V6 “And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.”

During 2nd half of the Great Tribulation period, Satan shall go all out to persecute and kill the 144,000 Jews, the 2 faithful witnesses and all who believe in Jesus Christ. There shall be many martyrs of Jesus until God eventually bounds and casts Satan and his demons to the bottomless pit for 1,000 years. This 1,000 years period is known as the Millennial Kingdom where Christ shall rule on Mount Zion, the New Jerusalem on the new earth.

3. Book (V8-18)
V8 “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”

The day of rejoicing shall come when the Almighty God shall reveal to all whose names are written in the book of life that they shall be with Him in His glorious heaven forever!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, please help me to flee from Babylon and abide in You and Your Word.

Revelation 16: Will You Obey The Great Voice?
Verse of the Day: (V1) “And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.”

1. Great Voice (V1-13)
V11 “And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.”

The great voice belongs to Jesus Christ as He commands His 7 angels during the end of the Great Tribulation period to execute His 7 judgments upon the people who have sinned against Him. No longer is Jesus the meek voice of a Saviour who died on the cruel cross for the sins of the whole world, but it is now the great voice of a Judge who shall judge the people for their sins. The 1st judgment is grievous sores upon the people with the mark 666 of the beast upon their bodies resulting in many deaths. The 2nd judgment is blood in the sea resulting in the death of all sea creatures. The 3rd judgment is blood in rivers resulting in many deaths as there is insufficient drinking water. The 4th judgment is intense heat that burn many to death. The 5th judgment is great darkness and pain resulting in many deaths. The 6th judgment is drought resulting in many dying of thirst. Even with all of God’s judgments and the many deaths, the people still harden their hearts and blaspheme God, and refuse to repent of their sins, and believe and trust in God.

2. Great Day (V14-18)
V14 “For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”

The great day of God Almighty is the final war between God and Satan, and it is called the Battle of Armageddon, which shall take place after the Great Tribulation period and the Millennial Kingdom. This is when God and His saints shall have the final victory over Satan, his demons and followers. Let us be on God’s side - though sometimes it seems that we are on the losing side - but ultimately God always wins, because He is God!

3. Great City (V19-21)
V19 “And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.”

The 7th judgment of the Great Tribulation period is a great earthquake and hailstorm that destroy the great city, which is Jerusalem, into 3 parts, and the great Babylon, and the entire earth, because of the sins of the people. During the Old Testament era, Jerusalem was once a holy city, where many people from the world came to the temple of Jerusalem to worship the true God of Israel, but today, it is no longer a holy city, because of sins.

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, please help me to obey Your great voice and fully trust in You.

Revelation 15: Are You A Servant Of God?
Verse of the Day: (V3) “And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.”

1. Wrath Of God (V1-2)
V1 “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.”

During the Great Tribulation period, though God is full of wrath, when in His permissive will, He allows Satan to have control of the world in deceiving the people - who have the free will to choose - to commit sins of immorality and idolatry, yet in His everlasting love and amazing grace, He desires all to believe in Him, and be with Him in glorious heaven.

2. Servant Of God (V3-7)
V4 “Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.”

Not all is doom and gloom, as the Almighty God eventually bounds and casts Satan into the bottomless pit for 1,000 years, and Jesus, the Lamb, then reign on the new Jerusalem on the new earth, and all the people from all nations who believe and trust in Him, including the 144,000 Jews and 2 faithful witnesses, shall come and worship before Him. They shall sing the song of Moses as well as the song of the Lamb, praising and glorifying Him, for His holiness, greatness and marvellous works of redemption and deliverance of all His saints both now and forever. Indeed, God used Moses, His servant, during the Old Testament era, to perform one of His great miracles - the opening of the Red sea - for Israel, His chosen people. Once Israel crossed the Red sea dry, God closed it, and covered and drowned all the pursuing Egyptian soldiers who were after them!

3. Glory Of God (V8)
V8 “And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”

During the Great Tribulation period, God shall send His 7 angels to pour His 7 last plagues upon the world to judge the great sins of the people who are misled and deceived by Satan. Indeed, God always wins and He shall ultimately defeat Satan though many times it seems that Satan and his demons are on the winning side with their cunning devices. Today, let us believe in Jesus Christ who sacrificed Himself some 2,000 years ago, not for His own sins, but for the sins of the whole world, that whoever believes in Him shall never perish in fiery hell, but have everlasting life with Him in glorious heaven!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, please help me to be Your servant to serve and glorify You.

Revelation 14: Will You Follow The Lamb?
Verse of the Day: (V4) “These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.”

1. Follow (V1-6)
V1 “And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.”

After the 7 year period of the Great Tribulation, God shall bound and cast Satan into the bottomless pit for 1,000 years before releasing him for the final and last battle where God shall cast him into fiery hell forever (Revelation 20:1-10). This period of 1,000 years is known as the Millennial Kingdom where the Lamb or the Lord Jesus Christ shall reign on mount Sion at the New Jerusalem on the new earth (the old earth shall be destroyed after God’s judgment upon it). During the Millennial Kingdom, the 144,000 Jews (the witnesses who survived the Great Tribulation period and who keep themselves pure and wholly follow the Lamb amid great immorality and idolatry) shall sing a new song together with the heavenly harpers and their harps before the throne, the 4 beasts and the elders, praising the Lamb for their redemption, and for all that He has done for them.

2. Fear (V7-11)
V7 “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”

During the Great Tribulation period, where the Holy Spirit shall be fully restrained to convict men, God uses His angels, who are indestructible, beside His men of 144,000 Jews and 2 witnesses, to preach the everlasting gospel that Jesus saves, and to believe and fear Him and give Him the glory. This is also the darkest period of the history of men where God permits Satan to have control of the world to force the people to worship him.

3. Faith (V12-20)
V12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

During the Great Tribulation period, God shall give the 144,000 Jews the patience and faith to endure the intense persecution from Satan before He eventually destroys the earth resulting in many deaths and where blood flows at a long distance and reaches as high as the horse bridle. Today, let us believe and trust in the Lamb, Jesus, and not wait till the Great Tribulation period, where it is almost impossible to believe in Him, because Satan and his 2 beasts and demons shall have full control and destruction of the entire world!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, please help me to always follow You, fear You and have faith in You.

Revelation 13: Is Your Name Written In The Book Of Life?
Verse of the Day: (V8) “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

1. Nations (V1-7)
V7 “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”

During the Great Tribulation period of 7 years, which is after the Rapture when all the Christians shall be called up to be with the Lord and the Holy Spirit is fully restrained, Satan, the dragon, shall appoint 2 beasts or charismatic men to be with him so as to imitate God’s Trinity - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Whatever God does, Satan shall imitate! These 2 beasts shall have great power as they deceive the nations for 42 months (3 ½ years) with false peace, before they begin to torture them for the next 42 months (3 ½ years). They shall blaspheme God, force the people to worship them, and lead them to make war with God’s saints. Though many saints shall go into hiding yet many are eventually arrested and killed. However, these saints are not fearful of death, because they know that their names are already written in the book of life of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, and to be absent from their bodies is to be present with their Lord forever!

2. Names (V8-10)
V10 “He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”

During the Great Tribulation period, there shall be God’s saints, whose names are written in the book of life, who refuse to worship Satan. However, God shall grant His saints the patience and faith so that they are able to endure the intense suffering and even death.

3. Number (V11-18)
V18 “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Let us have God’s wisdom and number, and not man’s wisdom and number, because man without God is led by Satan. This is why man and Satan have the number 6 - man’s number is 6 while Satan’s number is 666. During the Great Tribulation period, those who worship Satan must have the mark 666 on them otherwise they are unable to do business. Satan will then persecute those without the mark 666 and many suffer and eventually die. This is indeed the heavy price of God’s saints during the Great Tribulation period. Today, let us repent of our sins, and believe and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour, and not wait till the Great Tribulation period of intense suffering, persecution and even death.

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, thank You that my name is written in Your book as I believe in You.

Revelation 12: Do You Believe In Christ?
Verse of the Day: (V10) “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”

1. Crown (V1-4)
V1 “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:”

God revealed to John of a spiritual battle between Him and Satan, His created being, who had rebelled against Him because of pride. God then defeated Satan and banished him and one third of the angels who rebelled against him to earth. Satan on earth disguised himself as a serpent and deceived Adam and Eve, the first couple, to disobey God thus causing the fall of men. Satan went all out to hinder the virgin birth of a man child, Jesus, God’s only begotten Son, from the woman or the nation Israel, who shall be the Saviour of men to whoever believes in Him. However, time and again, God protected Israel, and finally Jesus came into the world. The woman, Israel, clothed with the sun which represented Jacob, and the moon under her represented Rachel, and her crown of twelve stars represented the 12 children of Jacob and Rachel who became the 12 tribes of Israel.

2. Child (V5-9)
V5 “And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.”

The woman or Israel brought forth a man child, Jesus, who left heaven and came to earth to die and shed His blood for the sins of the whole world, and He is now back at the right hand of God’s throne. Today, Satan is still on the loose and he is seeking to lead as many people to hell as possible because he knows that his time is short. However let us pray for those who reject Christ because the day shall come when all the Christians are called up to heaven, which is called the Rapture, and God shall allow Satan to rule the earth, which is known as the Great Tribulation. This will be a time when it shall be almost impossible to believe in Jesus as Satan shall torment the people and eventually lead them to fiery hell.

3. Christ (V10-17)
V17 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

Satan, the dragon, is angry with God as he knows his days are numbered, and he accuses the Christians day and night, and then he attempts a final battle with God and the remnant of Israel who keeps God’s commandments. In this final battle, again God defeats Satan. Indeed, we will never defeat Satan, but with God, we shall always triumph over him!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, thank You that I believe in Christ, the Child of the woman, Israel.

Revelation 11: Are You God’s Faithful Witness?
Verse of the Day: (V3) “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”

1. Witness (V1-13)
V8 “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.”

During the Great Tribulation period, God sends two faithful witnesses, cloth in sackcloth, to testify to the people for 1,260 days to believe and trust in Him. They wear sackcloth to signify that it is a mourning time as Satan is all out to deceive and destroy men. However, God shall give His two witnesses power to control rain, turn water into blood, and punish the earth with plagues so that the people know that they are of God, and from God. After 1,260 days, God allows the beast, whose master is Satan, to kill them in the great city, which is spiritually known as Sodom or Egypt but is actually Jerusalem, where the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified. The beast then instigates the people to celebrate the death of the two witnesses for three and a half days, mocking God that Satan have victory over God’s two witnesses. However, God has the last say, as He sends His Spirit of life to enter into His two dead witnesses and suddenly they resurrect from the dead and ascend to heaven before the people. Fear comes to many, and many believe and trust in the Lord.

2. Woe (V14-15)
V14 “The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.”

The second woe comes when God resurrects His two faithful witnesses and sends a great earthquake that shall destroy 10th part of Jerusalem and killing 7,000 men. The people then acknowledge God’s eternal power, and give Him the glory. Indeed, let us remember that God always triumphs over Satan, because He is God, and Satan is only His creature.

3. Worship (V16-19)
V16 “And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,”

After the ascension of the two faithful witnesses, the seventh angel then proclaims that all the kingdoms of the world shall become the kingdoms of God, and the 24 elders who sit before God shall fall upon Him and worship Him as He reigns forever. During the Great Tribulation period when all the Christians are called up to glorious heaven and the Holy Spirit is restrained, God still demonstrates His love for men by sending His two faithful witnesses to testify of His presence and power. However, let us not wait until the Great Tribulation period to believe in God, because it shall be a tough and trying time as Satan shall deceive and destroy, and torture and torment men. Today is the day of salvation as you repent of your sins, and believe and receive Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord.

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, please help me to be Your faithful witness that all shall believe in You.

Revelation 10: Do You Believe In The Little Book?
Verse of the Day: (V2) “And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,”

1. Book (V1-8)
V1 “And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:”

The Almighty God revealed to Apostle John that a mighty angel would come down from heaven with a little book, which was none other than the Word of God, the Bible, that he would eat it. He obeyed and ate it. He also witnessed certain prophecies which the seven thunders had uttered but God commanded him to seal them. Indeed, there are certain prophecies that God will not reveal to us until we are with Him in His home in glory land.

2. Belly (V9)
V9 “And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.”

When John ate the little book it was sweet in his mouth as it is God’s Word, but bitter in his stomach as he saw God’s impending judgment upon the unbelievers. Indeed, God’s Word is sweet to all who believe in Christ, because He has many wonderful promises, especially glorious heaven, for His believers. However, it is bitter to those who reject Christ, because He has many severe judgments upon the unbelievers, especially fiery hell.

3. Bitter (V10-11)
V10 “And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.”

Today, if you repent your sins, and receive Christ as your personal Saviour, the little book will taste sweet in your mouth, yet bitter in your stomach as you know that God’s impending judgment upon the unbelievers. However, if you reject Christ, the little book will taste bitter in both your mouth and stomach as you will face God’s severe judgments, especially eternal condemnation. One day, if you are still around when you see all the Christians suddenly disappear into thin air, you will realise that it is actually an event which is known as - the Rapture - when Christ shall call all His Christians to His glorious heaven. God then permit an influential leader, the antichrist, whose master is the Devil, to rule the world. The antichrist will deceive the people that the Christians’ disappearance is some kind of conspiracies. He initially rules with a false peace, but eventually he torments the people, and leads them to fiery hell, which is his final destination. Let us therefore keep sharing the gospel of Christ as - the Rapture - is any time from now!

Prayer of the Day:
Dearest God, thank You that I believe in Your little book, Your Word, the Bible.
